Sorry for the delay, everyone! Here is our next group of Practice Players & Practice Princesses of the last 2 weeks.

These kids continue to show up and show out every single week! They are putting in the work, listening to their coaches, encouraging their teammates, and continuing to grow both on and off the field.

Being named Practice Player or Practice Princess of the Week isn’t just about being the best athlete at practice. It’s about effort, attitude, leadership, teamwork, and doing the little things the right way. These kids have shown us those qualities, and we couldn’t be more proud of them!

Keep working hard, keep pushing yourself, keep encouraging your teammates, and most importantly, keep having fun! We love watching you all grow and develop each week.

📣 Waterloo Schools Introduces "Future Titans Pass" and Expanded Student Savings for 2026–27
As we prepare for another exciting year of Waterloo Schools athletics, we want to share a few updates regarding ticket prices and new opportunities designed to make our events more accessible for students and families. 🎟️

Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, Waterloo Schools will make a modest $1 increase to athletic ticket prices. Ticket prices have remained unchanged for the past two years, while the cost of hosting athletic events has continued to rise. In particular, the cost of officials has increased multiple times over the past four years, and the district must continue to pay competitive rates to ensure our events are appropriately staffed.

Even with this adjustment, Waterloo's ticket prices remain comparable to other large school districts and athletic programs across Iowa.

2026–2027 ATHLETIC TICKET PRICING
🎟️High School Events:
Varsity Contests: $8 Card / $9 Cash
Non-Varsity Contests: $6 Card / $7 Cash

🎟️Middle School Events:
Adults: $5
Students (Grades 6–12): $4

🎉 EXPANDED STUDENT & FAMILY PASSES
At the same time, we are expanding affordable opportunities for students and families to attend events:
💳 High School Activity Pass ($40): High school students will now have access to East, West, and Waterloo United home events through their Student Activity Pass, regardless of where the event is held.
🎟️ 5-Event Student Pass ($25): We are also introducing a brand-new five-event pass option for students!

🌟 NEW! Future Titans Activity Pass ($30):
One of the additions we are most excited about is our new Future Titans Activity Pass for students in grades K–8! For just $30, Future Titans receive:
Admission to all regular-season high school home events (when attending with a paying adult)
An official Future Titans T-shirt 👕
Opportunities to participate in special Future Titans activities throughout the year!

Beyond providing an affordable option for families, this program is designed to help our younger students feel connected to Waterloo athletics and begin building excitement around being a future Waterloo United Titan. ⚡

Our goal is to balance the increasing costs of operating quality athletic programs with our commitment to keeping events accessible and affordable for Waterloo students and families.

We are excited for the year ahead and look forward to seeing our students, families, alumni, and community members in the stands supporting our teams! Thank you for continuing to support Waterloo Schools athletics and the students who proudly represent our schools and community.
