After a good weekend in Stanley for the Fall Festival with the NDEA, I would like to highlight a few things!
I got to share a couple moments with my sash sisters and do many lives for promoting! It was a good weekend that brought many laughs and smiles to the arena.

On September 11, 2026 I got the honor of watching my grandfather, a retired Army Vet of 23 yrs bring in the American flag at an away football game. 🇺🇸
I am so grateful I get the honor of doing so at Rodeos! It is something I will never take advantage of.

9/11 a day of many tragic events and heavy losses. However this wasn’t a total disaster; it brought American people together. So from one generation to the next, ole glory still flies. 🇺🇸

Hi! I’m Ziva Ottesen, your 2026 Miss McKenzie County Ag Expo Queen.

As summer comes to an end, I’m preparing for the exciting months ahead! On December 31, 2026 we will be hosting our Leather & Lace Rodeo at the McKenzie County Ag Expo in Watford City.

My queen coordinator and I are gathering items for a silent auction held during the event. Proceeds will benefit the Queen Foundation and my scholarship fund, which will help me pursue an education working with horses and becoming a large-animal veterinarian.

As we look back on the 2026 McKenzie County Fair, we want to say a BIG THANK YOU!

Thank you to our incredible community for showing up and supporting the fair, our amazing kids and exhibitors, and our dedicated volunteers who work behind the scenes to make it all happen. The McKenzie County Fair wouldn't be possible without all of you! 🎉

🏫📚As we all are ending our second week(s) of school starting back up, I am curious what your most looking forward to and what your favorite memory from school was whether you’re a student, teacher, para or parent. 📚 🏫

This year I am a sophomore and I look forward to all the new things coming my way. My favorite memory is from my band class 8th grade year when I was with my friends and was able to see my favorite teacher Mr. D!
