Throughout the summer, and into the start of the school year, we have been trying to keep up on the field and make little improvements as we go. Coach Kebschull has been busy over the last 2 weeks. Coach has gotten the entire field mowed the last 2 weeks, making sure our fall workouts can run properly. This weekend, Coach Kebschull did some edging on the 1st base line. Make sure you give Coach a big Thank You for all he does for the program!

The JR Acme Indians saw their season come to an end tonight, with a 9-1 loss to Fairview. We want to thank each and every player, and parent, that made this JR Acme team possible. The amount of reps that our boys took advantage of this summer are invaluable. The JR Acme team ended the year with a 5-3 record, with 18 total kids getting to play extra baseball. Great summer season boys!

The JR Acme team had a 2nd round matchup with the Archbold Bluestreaks. The Indians found themselves in an 8-0 hole after the 2nd inning. The Indians kept in the game by scratching a couple of runs throughout the middle innings, but trailed 9-5 going into the 7th. The Indians scored 4 run to tie it at 9-9, forcing a bottom of the 7th. The Bluestreaks would end up hitting a walk off single to take home a 10-9 victory. Although the outcome wasn’t what we wanted, we are so proud of the fight and grit that the JR Acme team continues to show. The Indians sit at 5-2 this summer and will play tomorrow at 5:30p!

A good day for both Acme and JR Acme as both teams came up with big wins tonight! The JR Acme team started off the State Tournament with a big 17-4 win over Fairview! They will play Archbold tomorrow at 3:30! The Acme team finished their regular season with a big 9-4 win over Archbold! Great job Indians!

The JR Acme Indians stayed hot tonight, this time picking up a 6-3 victory over the Liberty Center Tigers! Great pitching mixed with timely hitting pushed the Indians to 4-1 on the year! Great game fellas!
