🎾 A Historic First for the Parker County Youth Sports Development Foundation! 🎾

On June 13, we proudly hosted the very first event under the banner of the Parker County Youth Sports Development Foundation!

Coach Mike Lasher led our inaugural Red Ball Tennis Tournament, introducing young athletes across Parker County to the game of tennis in a fun, welcoming, and low-pressure environment. The event was designed to help new players experience the excitement of match play and tournament competition while building confidence and developing a love for the sport.

After an exciting championship match, Wesley Bass emerged as our inaugural Red Ball Tennis Tournament Champion! 🏆 Congratulations, Wes, on a great performance!

This event would not have been possible without the dedication and leadership of Coach Mike Lasher, who continues to grow the game of tennis in our community.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to Bass Insurance Group for sponsoring our very first Foundation event. Your support helps us create opportunities for young athletes across Parker County, and we are incredibly grateful for your partnership.

🇺🇸 Congratulations to Our Director of Tennis, Coach Mike Lasher! 🇺🇸

The Parker County Youth Sports Development Foundation is proud to congratulate our Director of Tennis, Coach Mike Lasher, on his retirement from the United States Air Force after an outstanding career of service.

Coach Mike recently retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and served as Commander of the 136th Maintenance Squadron. His leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence have left a lasting impact both in the military and in our community.

Foundation President Ryan Muse shared:

"The Foundation couldn't be happier for Coach Mike as he begins this well-earned retirement from the Air Force. When we set out to build this organization, Mike represented exactly the type of coach and leader we hoped to bring to our team. His integrity, character, and passion for developing young athletes make him an invaluable part of our Foundation, and there is no one better suited to grow the game of tennis in Parker County."

Coach Mike, thank you for your service to our country and for the example you continue to set for the next generation. We are honored to have you as part of our team and look forward to the impact you'll continue to make in our community.
