One of Texas’ most conservative areas hosts pride festival Pop music boomed throughout Town Green Park Saturday as guests filtered into The Woodlands' first ever pride festival celebration. Over a thousand people are expected to attend the festival, which kicked off around 11 a.m. and features DJs and performances, food trucks and at least 70 vendor booths....

I can't remember the last time I went somewhere and didn't take my hoop with me. Wherever you go, there are hoop communities, filling people with joy and fun. It's pretty amazing. Every time I go somewhere new, I seek out people to connect with. Even if you don't speak the same language, the language of dance is universal
