We're looking for a volunteer medic to help our skaters at our next game.

Our next game is on Saturday Dec 6th The Pasadena Convention Center and Municipal Fairgrounds.

We'll need a medic from 4 PM to 6PM.

⚕️ Volunteer Responsibilities
The volunteer medic's primary role is to provide immediate, on-site first response for any injuries sustained during the game.

• Game Coverage: Medics are required to be present for the entire game time, including warm-ups and cool-downs, bringing their personal medical kit/bag.

• Injury Response: If an injury occurs, the game announcer or on-floor official will signal for medical assistance. You will be directed to the skater in need to assess the situation and administer appropriate basic first aid.

• Emergency Transfer: Should a skater require transportation to an Emergency Room (ER) or a higher level of care, the medic's responsibility is to stabilize the skater, ensure their comfort, and prepare them for a safe transfer to emergency services personnel.

🗓️ Typical Schedule and Locations
Our game schedule varies between two primary venues. Specific dates for all games will be posted with the official league schedule.

• Sunday Flat Track Games:
• Location: Pearwood Skate Center
• Timeframe: Typically 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM (Dates TBD)

• Saturday Convention Center Games:
• Location: Pasadena Convention Center, Fairgrounds Campbell Hall
• Timeframe: Typically 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Dates TBD)

💵 Remuneration and Benefits
This is a volunteer position, but we recognize the value of your supplies and time.

• Supply Reimbursement: If any supplies are utilized from your personal medic bag (e.g., tape, gauze, ice packs), the League will reimburse you completely for the cost of those items.

• Perks: You receive a free, trackside view of Women & Girls roller derby action while providing an invaluable service to the community.
