He is at the forefront of the Get Golf Ready initiative, holding several clinics per year aimed at helping individuals prepare to play and enjoy the game of golf. Tom also offers private lessons and instructs juniors at Webster Golf Club summer camps. He actively volunteers in programs aimed at growing the game, including Drive, Chip and Putt and HOPE for US Veterans.

I am excited to announce that Webster Golf Club will be participating in the PGA Jr. League again this season. Last year we had two Webster Teams in the league, and competed with area teams from Penfield, Irondequoit, Midvale and Ridgemont Country Clubs. Players thoroughly enjoyed both practice sessions and games, and received extensive coaching from PGA professionals. Parents and spectators had a blast cheering on their junior golfers, while experiencing the hospitality and beauty of Webster Golf Club and participating area courses.
Team practices and games are held on Sunday afternoons and Saturday practice range sessions are held throughout the season. The season kicks-off with practice sessions in May, and matches are held in early June through the end of July. Juniors will be coached by PGA professionals in all practices and matches. PGA Jr. League is open to girls and boys ages 8-13 of all abilities. Matches are contested using a team scramble format that facilitates fair and fun competition.

Great day for Rochester area PGA Junior League Golf! All-Star match held at Cobblestone CC and Webster Golf Club's Red & Green teams both were represented. Congratulations to all participants.

Day 3 of Get Golf Ready with Gaito, Cho and Masa at Webster Golf Club. Couldn't ask for a better group of students. Day 4 next Wednesday we hit the course for 9 holes!

Yesterday Webster Golf Club's Green Team enjoyed an awesome visit to Irondequoit Country Club for a PGA Junior League Golf game. Special thanks to PGA Professional, Eric Skiba for his organization and hospitality. ICC team prevailed 8.5 - 3.5, and their sportsmanship was as outstanding as their golf! ICC parents provided great support and many Webster parents and grandparents were on hand. Congratulations to both teams on well-played matches!
Huge congratulations to Katherine Kirk on winning the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic! Had the pleasure of meeting and playing with Katherine at Webster Golf Club in 2004 as she was prepping for US Open Qualifier. She has been a credit to the LPGA throughout her career, on and off the course. Awesome job, Katherine!

Great PGA Junior League Golf game at Webster West last Sunday. Penfield Country Club's team pulled out a narrow 6.5 -5.5 win over Webster Golf Club's Green Team. Awesome play by both teams with tons of excitement for players and spectators!
