Heat race from last night at Jacksonville
After looking over the car damage this morning, we’ve made the decision not to race at Spoon River tonight.
We’re going to take the time to get everything repaired and straightened out so we can come back stronger next time out.

Welp, you win some and you lose some… tonight definitely ended up in the loss column.
We started the night off strong by setting Quick Time in hot laps.
Started 2nd in Heat 2, got to the lead early, and held on all the way to the checkered flag.
We rolled off from the pole in the feature but didn’t get the start we wanted and fell back to 2nd. While trying to track down the 3N in front of us, I hit a rut in Turn 3, lost some momentum, and dropped back to 3rd. A few laps later, I caught the cushion wrong, the car got upset, and we ended up upside down.
Not the night our team had planned, but that’s racing. We’ll regroup, work hard, and get the car ready for Spoon River with Power-i tomorrow.

Heading to Jacksonville tonight!!
It's Race Day! I'm going to call it 'Goldilocks Night' because it's one of the few times we get a taste of the little bear's bowl of porridge - Not too hot... Not too cold... It's Just Right! Sunny and 80, no wind and no chance of rain. Let's eat it up! See you at 7!
