Weldon Antique Tractor Pull

I want to give a special big THANK YOU and shout out to Mean Green and Angry Red pulling sled for helping us out at the last minute and taking your day off to come help us get our pull in on Saturday!!!!
If it wasn't for your generosity, we could not have had the pull. MUCH APPRECIATED GUYS!!!!

This is going to be a long post, so my apologies. The 2025 Weldon Antique Tractor Pull is in the books for another year. It takes a team to make it happen and the willingness of a community (whether it be the pulling or those of the surrounding areas) to support and keep the spirit alive! At 10 pm Friday night I thought all our efforts to have this year's pull were lost as I received a call notifying me the pulling sled was broken and would not be able to make it Saturday. Although the owner, Larry Stephen, was broke down along road trying to get a handle on his own situation, he took the initiative to make a call to the Mean Green & Angry Red Pulling Sleds and secure them for our pull so the show could go on! My hat's off to Larry for his assistance when he needed more help than we did at that time!

Due to the change in Sleds, Saturday started out with some scrambling to get things ready for pull, but we got things done and began pulling about 12:30 pm.
It was hot and more hot as we progressed through the day. We had a total number of 88 hooks for the day and things went well. The numbers were down on participants and spectators when compared to the last pull, but it was miserably hot and I am very happy with the day.

I would like to thank all those who participated in or supported the pull this year.
