What an amazing week in La Baule!! So happy we got be here as a family. Amira and Izzy did a fantastic job finishing 7th, 9th and 9th. Extra fun to get to do her first derby. Thank you Equestrian Coterie for making it possible.

After an amazing graduation weekend at Culver, Sami is our final high school graduate!! Proud!

Amira and Mark have arrived in France for the summer.
Flower has joined the family with Piola on Sami’s polo roster.
We are looking forward to an exciting summer on 2 continents.

We celebrated Amira’s 21 st Birthday yesterday!

Having sport horses is high stress and it takes a village to care for them well.
Dr. Emily Bruschi who is with has been our vet for 8+ years. I truly don’t know what we would do without her. She has been there for every prepurchase, every questionable step and every heart stopping emergency. She has saved our horses lives and kept them all performing their best. She is truly the best!! ❤️

I spent the week at WEC in Ocala for the NCEA equestrian national championships. The University of South Carolina emerged victorious! Congratulations to the team, coaches and staff on a great weekend.
It was wonderful to see parents and athletes from all the teams. It was really nice to see the girls reach out across teams to support each other. Sport puts teams against each other but at the end of the day we are one community. Kindness makes things better, to all of the athletes who were gracious and kind you are all winners. A great weekend congratulations to everyone on all the effort and heart it took to be there.

A final poignant talent search win for Amira and Caretinhus to bring her to 20 wins to earn her gold medal. It was extra special to see her win it on Kino as they have had such a special relationship.

Very late recap of slightly overlapping spring breaks for Sami and Amira with friends. Lots of polo and showing WEF 10 & 11. We finished with ESP Spring 1 with Mark 19 returning the show ring for a ribbon in the jr/amateur 1.20.
