Former Arizona Cardinals defensive back Robert Tate returned to Yuma County this weekend to give back to the community and raise money for his charity.

This weeks PLAYER Spotlight:

Mr. Robert TATE attended the University of Cincinnati. In the 1997 NFL draft, Mr. Tate was draft in the 6th round, 183rd pick by the Minnesota Vikings.

Originally draft as a wide receiver, he was converted to defensive back upon entering the NFL. MR.Tate played nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens and Arizona Cardinals.

Mr. Tate officially retired from the NFL after the 2006 season.
