If you're showing a Jockey Club registered Thoroughbred at this weekend's show, please don't forget to sign up for Thoroughbreds Helping Thoroughbreds high point awards on the table outside of the office today or tomorrow. Some of you had probably left Friday before I was able to get the clipboards out. If your horse hasn't been signed up for THT before, I will need to verify eligibility before you can receive an award if you're the winner. There's a list of verified horses at the table, too. I will use the online results to total points next week and awards will be mailed to the winners. If you have any questions, email [email protected], text 618-920-8371, or come find me in the morning (stall 211). Thanks again to Irish Fox Stables for co-sponsoring our awards.

I will also put out some Mid-Illinois Sport Horse Organization (MISHO) membership forms. If you want your points from this show to count, you need to sign up and pay this weekend. Forms are available on our website at www.midilsporthorseorg.com. You can give me (not the office) a form and check tomorrow morning or you can email forms and pay via PayPal (both use the address [email protected]).
This just in...There will be THT awards for registered Thoroughbreds at the show March 6 & 7. Thank you to Irish Fox for co-sponsoring a hunter award and a jumper award. Sign up sheets will be on a table outside of the office once I get there on Friday. If you have questions about THT email [email protected] or text 618-920-8371. Thanks!
The results are in from the February Irish Fox Stables show, and the winners have been emailed. Congratulations to:

**Jumper champion Erowynne (JC Kinly's Pure Heart), ridden and owned by Stephanie Hill.
**Jumper reserve champion Curious George (JC Billie R), ridden and owned by Ana Marin.
**Hunter champion Hummingbird's Keikilani, ridden by Jennifer Davids and owned by Hummingbird Stables.
**Hunter reserve Carmeen, ridden by Sophia Catalano and owned by John Korenak.

Thank you to Irish Fox Stables for co-sponsoring these awards!
If you ride a registered TB, you are invited to attend the Thoroughbreds Helping Thoroughbreds schooling day and BBQ on October 10. A link to RSVP is in this flier.
Hey all!

Can anyone help out Chiaraluna foreign exchange student from Italy?

She is traveling to the US in August to share her culture and learn about ours, but she needs a host family to welcome her first. She has her own spending money and health insurance, she just needs a seat at the table and permanent place in your heart! Chiaraluna is 16 and she says,
“Dear future host family, first of all I introduce myself: I'm Chiaraluna and I'm sixteen years old, I live with my family composed by: my mum, my dad and my two sisters. In free time I like going to the gym, hanging out with my friends, going to the shopping center and going to watch a movie. I also like reading books ( when I have time I read very much), listening to music and I like cooking for my family. In the weekend my family and I sometimes go to a restaurant for dinner. One of my biggest passions are HORSES. Since I was a child I've practiced sports. I tried many sports like: dancing, swimming, skiing ( when I was on mountain Holiday with family) and even archery! But my favorite still remains horse riding. I can only say thanks to my lovely parents who are giving me the opportunity to live all this and say thanks to all U.S.A. host families who are able to host with enthusiasm and big heart guys and girls, opening their houses as real families!”
My own family has hosted and I hope someone here can experience the love and fun we have over the years. Please message me if you're interested in hosting Chiaraluna.
We hope to see some of our members at the first rated show of the 2020 calendar year next week!!

See y’all soon at the The National Equestrian Center for the Queenie Productions show!

Also, if you’re showing RIGHT NOW at our first January show at the Irish Fox Stables schooling show, send us some photos to [email protected]

This is both a happy time and a sad one. We built this place in 2004 and raised our daughter as well as at least a hundred more. They have all made us proud to see them bloom. We will miss everyone but look forward to doing things that we kept putting off until we had the time to do them. We will be watching you from a distance and cheering you on to fulfill your dreams. We are leaving you in good hands that will love you as much as we have. John and Beth Korenak

Since I am having difficulty processing the champ and reserve for Adult and Child Intermediate hunter in www.horseshowing.com I am posting the results on facebook. If you won a champ or reserve please contact me so I can see that you get your prize and ribbon. Click below to enlarge the results.

12/02/2021

We wish to thank everyone for supporting us last weekend. If you rode in the Intermediate child/adult division we are still attempting to resolve the problem. The placings you received in each class is correct. The problem is with the show program for the champ/reserve. Saturday the adult/child was split but due to an oversite they were not on Sunday. The program is not allowing us to do a correction, we want both the child & adult to have their champ and reserve. Hopefully we will get that resolved tomorrow.

11/27/2021

Prizes are ready! See you all in the morning! Start time of 8 in arena B and 8:30 in arena A.

Don't forget to do your entries, there is a $25 post entry fee. Also the online entry is free and you get a $5 credit!

10/18/2021

And now we have an official photographer, Jessica McPherson. See her at her table to order pictures.

10/18/2021

Thanks to Jessica Hasemann we will be supporting THT at our upcoming show. High point Hunter and Jumper will be awarded. Information will be available in the office during the show.

10/16/2021

An additional office has been added to help our exhibitors at the upcoming show. We will now have a RIBBONS OFFICE. All results will be processed in this office staffed by Irene Heisler. The ribbons for the flat classes will continue to be handed out at the gate. All others will be available next to the main office (what used to be the shavings office). This should eliminate some of the confusion (what did I place in? etc.) This will also free up the central office to do adds and scratches and check outs, etc. more efficiently.

10/14/2021

There will be no academy program lessons today, 10/14.
