🦄 4 Arrows is looking for a lesson horse for our intermediate riders. Needs to be able to walk, trot, lope on correct leads and do patterns/obstacles. Minor maintenance issues will be considered for the perfect unicorn. No horses over 14 years old will be considered. Must be at least 15 hands. Budget is small, but our horses are very well taken care of & are not overused! Show us what you've got! 🦄

Fall Pasture Grasses: As the air gets cooler and the leaves begin to change, so does your pasture. The sugars in grasses begin to rise as new growth explodes with cooler temperatures and fall rains, increasing the risk of laminitic episodes. If a horse beings to look foot sore contact your veterinarian and begin soaking their feet in ice water as soon as symptoms appear.

Take extra care when fall grazing horses who suffer from metabolic disorders. Their bodies do not metabolize sugar properly and are at a higher risk of pasture-induced laminitis.
