Few updates from the past week as we’ve been a little quiet.

This past Monday Hunter fell down half a flight of stairs at school. He did not loose consciousness but rung his bell hard enough to suffer a concussion. His memory and motor skills have definitely suffered. He hasn’t been at school this week but is hoping to return on Monday as he can. With this he can’t participate in Cross Country or racing until cleared by his doctor.

Round 2 of WSC was cancelled due to weather. Which for us is great news as it gives Hunter more time to recover and have the opportunity to race.

Round 2 of WSC has been rescheduled to October 2nd - 4th! Hope to see you there!

🚨Jefferson Speedway recap🚨

Sorry for the VERY late post. We started practice out 7th with a tight, but fast car. With a lot of rain we only got a little practice so we loosened the car up for qualifying.

In qualifying I ended 5th with a pretty good car.

Now, it’s race time. We started racing at 7:30 which is an whole hour and a half late. I started my heat 3rd and finished 3rd with a great battle for most of the race.

Feature time! We started the feature outside first row. I quickly powered to the front and led EVERY lap except from one. We had a few cautions, and a few good battles, but we were able to come out on top to win our first ever feature!

As race season is winding down, cross country is getting started up for Hunter Graham. Tonight is the first meet for the season. Go get em Hunter!

🚨Chamionship night at Tomah Sparta recap🚨
First off, sorry for the very late post. Anyways we started out practice with a tight but fast car, and ended 2nd in both practices.

We loosened the car up for qualifying and had an even faster car, and TIED for fastest which very rarely happens. But they unfortunately gave it to the other person.

Now it’s race time. I started the first feature 6th, and got to the front quickly and pulled to a straightaway lead until a caution came out. After that we went green and another car got under me and we played follow the leader. I ended 2nd in that race.

In the second feature I also started 6th and got to the front again. The other car was able to get under me and we stayed about the same length away from each other until I self spun by driving it in to hard. I went to the back and started passing quickly. I was able to make my way to 3rd and finished there.

We are still unsure of championship results but believe we won it. More on that later.

It’s championship night at Tomah Sparta Speedway! We are leading points by 18 and are hoping we can come home with a championship. Come on out and watch us get that championship! Racing starts at 7!
