What a day for Xpress 2035! 🚂❤️💙🥎

We didn’t get the start we wanted, dropping our first game 4-1 to Lightning Fastpitch, but I couldn’t be more proud of how these girls responded. They put it behind them, battled back and won three straight to earn their way into the championship game.

🥎 Xpress 10 – Central Ohio Tigers 1
🥎 Xpress 11 – Sunbury Galaxy 0
🥎 Xpress 1 – Cap City Force Thomas 0
🏆 Championship: Xpress 1 – Lightning Fastpitch 1 — game called due to weather

Huge shoutout to Kenley for an unbelievable PERFECT GAME — 5 innings pitched, 48 pitches, 38 strikes and 9 strikeouts! 🔥

And a huge moment from Maizy, coming through with the go-ahead RBI hit to help send us to the championship! 💪

Going from an opening-game loss to fighting all the way back to the championship says a lot about this group. They competed, picked each other up and kept battling all day. We didn’t get the chance to finish that last one, but ending the day tied 1-1 in the championship after that comeback is something these girls should be proud of.

We’re excited to get this group back on the field and see them compete this fall. We’ve got some great doubleheaders lined up along with three fun tournaments to keep the girls working, learning, and getting better together.
