Yoga Teacher, Qigong Enthusiast. We should all approach yoga without prejudice, with an open mind, and be willing to learn more about ourselves.

✨ “One who, recognizing oneself in all beings, sees the same essence in the joy and suffering of others… that one, O Arjuna, is a perfect yogi.”
— Bhagavad Gita 6.32

This verse keeps living in me lately.
And yet… sometimes it feels like we are moving in the opposite direction. More divided. More isolated. More “us” and “them.”

Maybe the practice is not only learning to sit in meditation, but learning to recognize ourselves in one another again.

To remember that behind every opinion, fear, identity, or wound… there is still a human heart wanting peace, love, and belonging.

SUPPORTED NAVASANA

Using a strap in boat pose isn’t necessarily easier, but more intentional.

It offers feedback, stability, and space so your core can engage without gripping or collapsing.

Find balance on your sitting bones, and you may even experience a few moments of effortless Navasana, supported and steady.

𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 – 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐲𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐃

A variation where the bottom leg doesn’t need to be in half lotus.

Options to explore:
• Elbow to knee
• Hug the front leg
• Bottom leg extended

The counter-rotation of the torso remains, honoring the intention of the pose.

Some days we deepen.
Some days we adapt.

Find your edge — or choose ease.
Your practice is your guru.
Your guru is within.

First class of Adaptive + Experiential Ashtanga ✨

So grateful to begin this journey with these beautiful people.

Adaptive Ashtanga preserves the structure and discipline of the traditional method while making it accessible to every body. We thoughtfully adjust pacing, modify postures, and use support to respect individual anatomy and capacity.

Experiential Ashtanga shifts the focus from doing or executing poses to sensing them. Through breath, attention, and mindful repetition, we cultivate interoceptive and proprioceptive awareness—training the nervous system to adjust, regulate, and respond under challenge.

In this class, props are not a shortcut. They are intelligent tools. We use bricks, blankets, straps, chairs, and the wall to build strength, mobility, and resilience safely and progressively.

This is not about achieving the pose.
It’s about cultivating adaptive capacity—on the mat and in everyday life.

So proud of this beginning 💛

If you’re navigating change, this is your reminder:
You don’t need to “get somewhere.”
You don’t need to fix yourself.
You don’t need to become someone else.

You don’t need perfect circumstances to be at peace. You find peace by being present within imperfect ones.

Meditation keeps teaching me this.
We don’t sit to become someone better.
We sit to remove the noise.
The doubts.
The roles.
The pressure to perform.
And underneath all that…
there you are.
Not a new you.
Not an improved you.
Just the real you steady, aware, enough.
Every time you return to the breath, you’re not building something.
You’re remembering something.
Your most grounded self.
Your most honest self.
Your essential self.
That’s the practice.
Less fixing.
More uncovering.
If you’ve been feeling disconnected, try 5 quiet minutes today.
Not to change who you are, but to meet who you’ve always been.
