I’m laying in bed DYING 😂 my legs already hurt so freakin bad from my workout, but it feels so good! Now that i workout 3-4 days a week, i have to train quads, hamstrings, glutes, and calves all on one day 😅 the 4th day isn’t guaranteed depending on my pain levels, so gotta work with what we got!

I think this is something that people still forget.. find a plan that works FOR YOU! If you’re a client and you come to me saying that you can workout 4-5, 5-6, Days a week, i typically building a workout around the lower number. Here’s why:
The first number you give is probably the amount of times you WILL workout, no matter what. The latter, is more than likely what you want to building up to or what you can make time fore, but it’s no your priority. I.e. i say i workout 3-4 times a week, it will 100% be 3, but not always 4. Make sense?

I believe there is still so much pressure to always be at the gym and always grinding. SLOW DOWN FOLKS. The gym isn’t going anywhere and if you commit to something you won’t do you’re only going to cheat yourself. Remember to be realistic. Go to the gym. Live your life. But remember to take some time for yourself.

Leaving y’all with my check-in photos.
Current stats:
•5ft
•109 lbs
• bust- 33.5 hips- 24.5 waist- 34 (i only know these because i got fitted for a bridesmaids dress last weekend lol)

Before you drop the, “you look so awesome already,” hear me out... i am SO grateful that i worked my ass off for 4 years to get me to a point that being forced to take 8-9 months off from the gym didn’t completely destroy everything i worked for. Over the last 8 months i lost 8-10 pounds, of fat AND MUSCLE! I was told sooo many times, “oh you’re so lucky you’re not doing anything, but you’re still losing weight.” Yeah.... “lucky” that i had to stop working out and lost a large majority of what i worked so hard for. Lucky, that I’d get so depressed and anxious that i didn’t want to eat. Lucky, that i got to spend the free time i had on the couch.

I had a pretty rough week last week with my back and my incisions still healing 9 weeks post-op. I think i only made it to the gym twice?? Which I’m still happy with, i mean i should be happy I’m able to workout at all, right?! Right now, my goal is to get to the gym 3 times a week. This means my workouts are going to be different than usual to make sure I’m hitting every body part! I try to not workout on my days where i go to PT because my body is usually WRECKED by the time I’m done 😅 the exercises seem so simple, but they’re still freakin hard dude!!!

As summer is slowly approaching (v slowly bc it freakin snowed yesterday?!?!?) i definitely want to get my nutrition more in check and start counting macros again, so we’ll see how that goes!

Lol, but really. I much prefer taking pictures than video taping my workouts (sorry fam). When i workout, i like to be in my zone, not worrying about a video. Which makes me laugh because i could workout with someone and not say a word, but my bf doesn’t stop talking 😂😭 (hi. ily. lol)

I actually had a pretty decent leg workout today! Swipppppeeee to see and save 💪🏼 this was a little surprising to me because I’m still trying to get used to the fact that i can lift, but still have so many restrictions. I’m trying to get creative, but stick with what i know works at the same time 🧐🤔 for example: all my workouts need to be in a neutral plane or give me support. This makes things a little more difficult, but is also giving me the opportunity to become a better trainer.

I’ve been cleared to ease my way back into the gym 🤗 praise Jesus. hallelujah. Amen. Key word being E A S E back in. No crazy hard workouts coming from me for at least another 6-8 weeks, but I’ll take what i can get. -
As excited as i am to be back, I’m also really freakin nervous lol. Not because i think I’ll hurt myself, but literally just going back to the gym like it’s the first time again. Like hey 🙋🏽‍♀️ is me, over here with my 5-10 pound weights (there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just weird to start over again). -
I’m only going to be going to the gym about 3-4 times a week. Not trying to overdue it lol. I’m also planning to get a small workout notebook to really track my progress this time around: weight, sets, reps, pain scale etc. so I’m really excited for that. -

Helllllooo! I haven't used this page in quite some time (since I left GRIND) and I've decided to bring it back! I'm really excited to start posting more on here and give as much information as i possibly can. Also, my goal is to start making training programs (WOOOHOOO)! Until that happens, I’m using all the rehab and extra help i can get. Today, that includes
Rocktape is used to “tone down” pain. When the tape is placed on the skin it alters signals to the brain that keep it from producing the sensation of pain. It is used to reduce inflammation, delays fatigue, and helps normalize muscle tone to all muscles. The great this is i can still move with the tape on (and it doesn’t feel like it’s going anywhere 😬).

By no means is it going to permanently take away my pain, however, my chiropractor and i decided at this point every little bit will help.

What are some of your favorite/ go-to rehab techniques???

Breakfast all day, every day.

I have breakfast foods at least 2-3 times a day. Since my nutritional intake has been low, I’m trying to work on bringing it back up. I lost 6 pounds after I got my wisdom teeth out and still have not been able to gain that weight back because I have no appetite and can’t workout yet.

Sooo, with that being said here’s my breakfast 🤗
• COFFEEEEE- using java whey protein
- 1 scoop java whey
- 1 cup of almond milk
- lots of ice *blend*
- tastes just like a coffee coolata from Dunkin’ 😋😋😋😋
• pumpkin protein pancakes
- pancake mix (no fancy protein fitspo, iifym mix, just plain pancake mix)
- pumpkin classic whey (I only used 10g since I had protein in my shake)
- 46g of egg whites
-water *mix*
