July 11, 2026 - Cornerstone Lakes Event #167

Yesterday, we welcomed 21 finishers and 7 volunteers to Cornerstone Lakes! First and foremost, this event isn’t possible without its volunteers. Thank you Brian, Lucy, Esther, Colin, Joanne, and Tina for volunteering!

Today was Jack’s 100th parkrun at Cornerstone Lakes. With 349 parkruns under his belt, it’s an honor to have shared so many of those here at CL! Matthew, Dalton, and Liuan all achieved personal bests. Nice work! We welcomed Samuel and Rachel (UK tourists), and Brandon (first time parkrunner). Come back soon!

I am not sure what Matthew had for breakfast, but whatever it was, it landed him a 20 second PB and a sub 19 minute finish. Carmen took first for the woman, with a strong showing for the seventh week in a row. Oliver is just one parkrun away from a Junior 10 milestone, while Dave is quickly approaching his 25th. Colin & Edwin and Brandon & Kristen were this week’s dynamic duos. Awesome teamwork out there!
