Today we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible coaches of the Iowa Phoenix.
Our coaches volunteer their time, energy, and knowledge to help build not only this team, but the future of women's tackle football. The work they do goes far beyond game day. They spend countless hours watching film, breaking down plays, planning practices, leading chalk talks, mentoring athletes, and finding ways to make us better every single week.
Their dedication, passion, and commitment to this organization never goes unnoticed. Because of their sacrifice and belief in this team, our athletes have the opportunity to grow both on and off the field.
Thank you for the long nights, the early mornings, the endless preparation, and the unwavering support. The Iowa Phoenix is stronger because of you.

This is it, Phoenix Nation.
The final regular season game is here, and every snap, every hit, every yard matters. Months of sweat, sacrifice, and relentless work have led to this moment.
Today, the Iowa Phoenix take the field one more time in the regular season with one goal in mind: FINISH STRONG.
We've battled through adversity, fought through injuries, weathered storms, and left everything on the field week after week. Now it's time to rise once again and show everyone what Phoenix Football is all about.
Play for your teammates.
Play for your coaches.
Play for your fans.
Play for the name on the front of the jersey.
The regular season ends today, but the mission is far from over.

Today, the Iowa Phoenix mourns the loss of one of our biggest supporters, Steve Christensen.
Steve wasn't just a fan in the stands he was family. As the father of our co-founder and president, Shannon Christensen, his support, encouragement, and belief in this team helped shape the Iowa Phoenix into what it is today.
Whether cheering from the sidelines, celebrating our victories, or standing by us through challenges, Steve's presence was a constant reminder of what community, dedication, and unconditional support truly look like.
Our hearts are with Shannon, Shelly, Connie, the Christensen family, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. While he may no longer be with us physically, his impact on this organization and the people within it will never be forgotten.
Steve, thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and being part of our journey.
Your Phoenix family will carry your memory with us always.
Rest easy, Steve. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Through rain delays, overtime, and a battle that tested every ounce of grit, the Iowa Phoenix refused to back down. When the storm hit, we stayed locked in. When overtime came, we answered.
And when the final whistle blew, the Phoenix stood victorious with a hard fought 21-20 win.
This team fights for each other.
This team never quits.
