WHO'S COMING?!
I have been invited to premiere a magnificently virtuosic solo viola concerto with the Moorpark Symphony.
Two Saturdays from now, composer/Conductor Stephen Burch will guide me and the Moorpark Symphony in the premiere of his .
Especially brilliant is the second movement of the piece, originally written by the composer as an unaccompanied viola sonata.
Maestro/composer Stephen has given me the artistic freedom to write my own cadenza in the third movement- so matching his spirit in that movement of quoting from the , I have created a 'sampler' of works for solo strings... I'm not giving it away tho'🥰 You must come to the concert to hear it!
