💪 I learned something today that is hard for me to grasp, and I cant believe I didn’t know this.

It wasn’t until 1974, that women were allowed to have a credit card, checking account, and mortgage in their own name. !!! 1974!!! That is only 50 yrs ago.
That means that my mother, grandmother, etc. did not have the same opportunities that I did as a young woman.

Maybe it’s the progressive time we live in, or the fact that I was never taught this - that it just seems impossible to me to be true! But somehow less than 50 years ago this was the norm.

I’m bringing this up, because I think it is so important that we continue to encourage each other in the financial literacy world of success! Personally I know that as an entrepreneur myself, there are times that I beat myself up and get frustrated and discouraged at the speed of success I’m having.

I would not consider myself a feminist, but if you stop and reflect on this information, the reality is
for over 2000 years, men have had these financial privileges. Women are still in the infancy of learning how to navigate building wealth.
