Our specialized 30 minute Afterburn workouts use a combination of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Active Rest Training to get your body to burn up to twice the fat and calories that traditional workouts burn in only half the time. They also keep your metabolism working at a higher rate for up to 32 hours after each workout.
Every group training session is led by an experienced and certified personal trainer and is designed to be fun, high energy, and challenging so that you burn the maximum fat and tone your muscles.

About the Owners:
Meet Thad and Jodi Rund!
They are both US Army veterans, teachers, parents, and people who truly care, love, and understand the importance of overall health.
Thad and Jodi met while in college and got married. During that time, their military careers sent them in different directions across the globe. From 1999 to 2002, Thad deployed 3 times. Then in 2003, he found a career working in conflict zones as a security contractor. Meanwhile, Jodi was in Iraq from 2004-2005, serving as a gunner that ran convoy security up and down Iraqi highways.
In 2006, after 2 years of geographic separation, they moved to Costa Rica. Jodi completed her Master’s in education and earned a degree in theology. Jodi started teaching English, language arts, and literature at an International Christian High School, and she even started the high school’s first-ever girls basketball team.
At the same time, Jodi and Thad noticed their community needed togetherness, outreach, and connection, so they launched and pastored a local church and youth group to empower others though mindset and outreach. Soon afterwards, their 2 boys came into the world.
Eventually, they noticed gaps in educational standards between the U.S. and Costa Rica, so they followed their dream to introduce a U.S.-accredited curriculum to the local Costa Rican community.They took initiative and launched their own private preschool-through-high school in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
During this time, their passion for fitness grew. It led them to build a personal training gym at home, as well as start Jodirund.com , where Jodi was able to write about health-related topics related to family, pregnancy, children, and discipline. When she wasn’t teaching at the school, she was able to train clients part-time. She also contracted as a fitness professional at the Four Seasons Resort in Costa Rica.
Thad started a plant nursery—he specialized in aquaponics and perennials—where he harvested and sold many exotic, nutrient-rich plants and animals. He began SurvivalGardener.com to combine nutrition, education, self-sustainment, and fitness into one package.
Today their passions for education, nutrition, and fitness merge together in in South Florida!
In 2016, they opened Palm Beach FBBC.
In 2017, they launched North Palm FBBC.
In 2019, they launched Delray FBBC!!!
Having spent over 10 years combined in combat zones, they understand the impact of stress on lifestyle and how self-discipline, nutrition, and fitness help you stay on top of your mental health. They have experienced fitness’s many benefits first hand. Thad and Jodi both come from families of over-eaters and diabetics, so they empathize with diet struggles.
