What a challenging weekend of racing at rounds 7-8 of the Northeast GT (NEGT) endurance series. Day 1 engine was on point but we had to deal with several car issues, we overcame them and recorded a 3rd place class finish. Day 2 started with a slight hiccup but the car and team persevered and were on point through the whole race to record a 1st place class / 3rd overall victory. Keygan Nacos (iron man) started the race and pulled a double stint while setting a personal and car’s best lap of 1:00:956, knocking on the 59 second door. Then Nathan Loos finished it off to the checkered flag. Big victory for us considering all the issues leading up to and during this weekend to leave with these results. Big thanks to Niall Mcdaid, Brittany Perry, Chris Nacos and Gavin and especially Raven for all their help. Special thanks to I-Rotary apex seals, Carlos G. Lopez of CLR Motorsports, Mazda Motorsports, Nacos Pro Tech Repairs Plus, 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙨 and our mascot The adventures of Shelby the brown cat. To all the workers and Lime Rock Park track staff two thumbs 👍 👍 up you guys rock. See you at the final race weekend next month at Watkins Glen International for rounds 9-10 (championship weekend)

The RX-8 is ready for some endurance racing this weekend with Northeast GT (NEGT) series at Lime Rock Park. Some repairs, maintenance and R3 side skirts added. It’s never looked better. We got the show let’s hope we got the go (Brap Brap Brap)
