special thank you to the founder and visionary, Shaleena Tareen of Childhood Matters. It was an honor to have my Alliance Therapy Dog, Frosty, participate in the community activities of Zones of Wellness hosted by Childhood Matters at Conejo Creek North Park on Saturday, April 18th.
There were so many dedicated volunteers working behind the scenes to make this event such a wonderful success. The Conejo Valley community is truly known for supporting children and families, and this event was a beautiful example of that commitment.
Families enjoyed educational activities, valuable community resources, and so much joy throughout the day. Highlights included visits from the Los Angeles Rams Cheerleaders, local police officers who brought a patrol car for the children to explore, and fascinating exotic animal presentations, just a few of the many memorable moments from this special event.
