What better day to appreciate your hard work then on Labor Day?!
I'm proud of my accomplishments in fitness and no amount of money or recognition could ever provide the same feelings that I get when I see my hard work pay off. For me overcoming the struggle is what makes life worth living! I don’t want to be handed anything. I want to create my success.

Who said you couldn’t make progress during quarantine?!
In under 3 months, has lost 17 pounds and 6.9 inches in the waist, hips, & thighs!
Even more impressive, he has decreased his body fat percentage from 29.0% to 18.1%! That means he actually lost 28.9 pounds of fat and built 11.9 pounds of muscle!

The reason most people suck with their nutrition and finances can be summed up in three words, “Super Size Me.”
When people go to the movies (back in the day), and they’re given the option between small, medium, large, & extra-large, they usually choose the biggest one because it seems like the best bang for the buck.
In reality, it’s the most expensive choice and the one with the most calories. In other words, you’re depositing a lot of calories into your fat account and withdrawing a lot of money from your bank account.
Be smart; make good choices, and achieve success.

HOW TO CUT DURING QUARANTINE
Being trapped in the house with nothing more than some resistance bands can present some challenges, but no obstacle can stand between you and your goal if you want it bad enough.
If you're curious about how you can cut body fat without a gym and nothing but time to sit around and eat all day, then here are some tips that can help you!
1. Intermittent Fasting. Not because it works better than traditional dieting, because it doesn't, but because it helps you save calories for the end of the day when most people are more hungry.
2. Be Active. Not just through fitness, but with daily walks, bike rides, etc. Those calories add up to big results.
3. Toss the Junk Food. Seriously, just get ride of it. And don't blame your kids for having it in the house, you buy the food, not them.

THE COOKIE TEST
Years ago, a study was done with more than 600 children. Each child was given a cookie and two options; Option 1, they can eat the cookie now. Option 2, they can wait 15 minutes and get two cookies. The researchers followed up with the participants years later to see how they were doing in life.
THE RESULTS
The children who chose option 1 as children grew up with lower SAT scores, higher BMI’s, lower average income, and greater levels of substance abuse.
THE POINT
Delayed gratification is the only way to be successful. You have to make short term sacrifices for long term victories. This is true for fitness and life in general.
Some people are born with delayed gratification; most are not. If you weren't born with this critical skill, then you have two options; let your inability to see past what's right in front of you control your life forever, or you can work your ass off to change that bad habit.
