Today’s workout was all about showing our Wewa pride! From Gator gear to Gator spirit, our weight room was full of energy, hard work, and smiles.

Technique was the focus, and these girls showed that getting better isn’t always about lifting the heaviest weight…it’s about putting in the work, paying attention to the details, and getting a little better every single day.

I love watching this team represent our school with pride while continuing to grow stronger together. The future is bright for Lady Gator Weightlifting! 🐊🏋️‍♀️❤️🖤

Before the PRs come the reps. Before the medals come the mistakes. Before the wins comes the work.

Today wasn’t about seeing how much weight we could put on the bar. It was about trusting the process.

We slowed things down, focused on technique, and put in the work that no one will remember…but it’s the work that makes all the difference when the lights are on and the platform matters.

A huge thank you to Coach Paille from Full Send Oly for spending the afternoon with our Lady Gators. His coaching, attention to detail, and willingness to invest in our athletes helped reinforce an important lesson: strong technique builds strong lifters.

And of course, we had a little fun with our Blue Dress-Up Day! 💙

Champions aren’t built in one workout. They’re built by showing up day after day, staying coachable, and trusting the process…even when progress isn’t immediately visible.

Trust the process. Master the basics. The results will come. 🐊🏋️‍♀️❤️

One thing this team is learning is that you don’t quit when things get hard.

After taking a week and a half off, we got back to work on Monday. The excitement was high, and by Wednesday the weight room was full of smiles, laughter, and energy.

Today was different.

The soreness had set in. The excitement had worn off. Faces looked tired. Bodies felt heavy. The weights didn’t feel as light as they did a few days ago.

But here’s what mattered most…

They didn’t quit.

Champions aren’t built on the days when everything feels easy. They’re built on the days when you’re tired, sore, and every part of you wants to stop…but you show up anyway.

I’m proud of these girls. Not because every lift was perfect, but because they chose perseverance over excuses. Those are the lessons that last far beyond the weight room.

One workout at a time. One choice at a time. One day at a time.
