I’m tired of watching the people we elect abuse their power. I’m tired of hearing promises about serving the public, only to see self-interest take priority. I love this country deeply and believe in the strength of our republic. I’m not looking to change the system—I just want to hold accountable the politicians who put their own interests ahead of the people’s. Please help me by forcing a change to Congress and the Senate by adding term limits.

I want to give a shout out to the Gulf County Sheriff's Office, Last night at 2am something triggered my Burglar Alarm at the store. I did not hear my phone (it was in the other room). The alarm company contacted the Sheriff's office and an officer was sent. I want to thank the Deputies for their service. People remember that while you are safe in your home these men and women watch over you. Please always remember and know that in Gulf County there will always be someone on the other end of the phone or in their cars when an emergency arises. I am so glad that I live in a community where we honor these individuals and have no desire to defund or dismantle their departments. God bless you all and I pray that he keeps you safe.

I want to take a moment to address some of the rumors surrounding the closing of the shop.

The decision to close is due to a health issue. This was not an easy choice, and it certainly was not one I wanted to make—but sometimes life makes decisions for us.

I did explore the possibility of selling the business and had some interest, but there are no solid offers at this time. The closure has nothing to do with competition or changes in the local market. It was simply a personal decision based on my circumstances.

Many people may not realize that I am 72 years old. Recently, I had to accept that I am no longer 20, and that reality played a role in this decision.

I truly appreciate the support, kindness, and loyalty shown over the months I have been open. It has meant more to me than I can adequately express.

If the business does not sell, I will still be available for repairs, transfers, and sales at a different location. If the business does sell, I will remain at the current store location for a few months to assist during the transition. I will provide further details as they become available.
