New addition to HQ! hack squat & leg press combo unit 💪🏻

This piece has been on my wishlist for 5 years now! It’s hard to come across many hack squat / leg press combos with linear bearings, but I finally found one locally! This unit is a beast, and will be an upgrade over my old combo unit on roller wheels.

Even though this is a nice upgrade, it was bittersweet to move the old hack squat/leg press out of this corner of the garage. I still remember driving out to Ohio with Ryan to buy it in 2020. I did buy a pair of Schisler deep dish 45s with that unit though, which I still have, love, & fully intend to keep!

Seated Calf Raise

First major addition in a while to HQ! This has been on the list for a while & finally found one.

This is going to save a lot of time he’s been spending loading 5+ plates on Smith machine seated calves 🐮

New Rogue Fitness calibrated 35 lb plates added to DC HQ. They are 400 mm in diameter (a bit smaller than 450 mm standard 45 lb plates) & only 21 mm thick.

New PRIME Fitness Kaz handles!

These are the small version with a slightly narrower handle: tapering from 1.70 inches to 2.25 inches in diameter.

These handles is have two attachment points per handle rather than the traditional single attachment point. This was designed such that they can function like a handle but also similarly to a single rope attachment.
