IHSAA Unified Track & Field Sectionals – Valparaiso

What an incredible way to close out the 2026 season! While we finished with a 4th place team finish and didn’t advance to Regionals next week, this team showed HEART, determination, and growth all season long. We walked away with a LONG list of personal records and top finishes — and we could not be prouder of this team!
Long Jump
⭐ Kanen placed 3rd in his flight with a PR of 13’7”
⭐ Travis jumped a PR of 14’4”
⭐ Tess placed 3rd in her flight with a PR of 11’6”
⭐ Brody placed 5th
Shot Put
⭐ Zach B. placed 1st in his flight
⭐ Shane placed 2nd in his flight
⭐ Connor placed 5th in his flight
⭐ Skylar placed 8th in her flight
100 Meter Dash
⭐ Addy placed 2nd in her heat with a PR of 15.44 seconds
⭐ Connor placed 2nd in his heat

Girls 4x100 Relay
Chloe, Kelsey, Bella, and Addy placed 2nd and crushed their season-best time with a 1:17.55!
Boys 4x100 Relay
Brody, Jack, Travis, and Ben placed 4th while beating their top season time with an amazing 56.42 seconds!
This team represented KV with pride, positivity, and teamwork all season long. So proud of every athlete, partner, coach, and supporter who made this season unforgettable!

That’s a wrap for the 2026 Unified Track Season. We missed advancing to regionals by 2 POINTS!
2 POINTS!!! Ugh!
We are going to celebrate this amazing season together and Rita and I will begin strategizing for next year!
