Maternifit is a Prenatal/Postnatal Fitness Studio dedicated to empowering women through pregnancy and into new motherhood. We offer specialized training, doula services, childbirth education, parenting workshops, support groups, and a network of professional resources with community partners.

Prenatal Yoga is a component of our 6 Week Series and this morning’s session was just what our bodies and minds needed! Thank you Francesca @maternal_root for always holding space for us and we allow these moments to connect with baby and strengthen and elongate our muscles as we journey through pregnancy and prepare for birth. Our next 6 Week Series will begin on in two weeks starting on Saturday 2/22 through 3/28. Priority registration is open now for current clients. Postpartum Series Mamas! Working out after baby is much better when you have others around you that can relate and encourage you! Breathing patterns and correct activation of your core and pelvic floor muscles are what we focus on through every movement. Here we are working through a circuit after our warmup and before lots of core work on the mats that can be practiced at home as well. Great job, mamas!

Hello Mamas! My name is Evelyn Fuerte and I am the Prenatal/Postpartum Fitness Instructor blessed to lead Maternifit. I birthed the idea of a wellness program for expectant mothers soon after the birth of my daughter in 2013. I have experienced immense growth personally and professionally through this venture of serving and connecting with other passionate professionals to provide a dynamic range of support and resources for mothers.
The tender space of birth and new motherhood enlivens me to nurture and support my community through specialized instruction and care. I believe that endurance and mind-body connection through consistent, safe, and effective exercises can help equip new and expectant mothers by increasing confidence and strength for labor and serve well in healing postpartum. Welcome to our programming as we relaunch components, I am so grateful to share in such a transformative season of life with you!
