Medieval styled friction folder but using modern materials. 80CrV2 with mild steel furniture, micarta and bronze pins with decorative scroll work and Arrowhead file work on the spine and spacer. Was able to get this finished up despite the snow, ice and cold. I don't know if I want to sell it or not... I like it.

Every time I travel, I like to pick up some history and translate that to my own heritage and personality. In this case, Scotland. Land of many of my ancestors and home to Clan Shaw. The Nice thing about being a knife maker is being able to make something for myself for Christmas. Here I've made myself a Sgian Dubh and a proper Dirk. The Sgian Dubh is made with Pop's Procut and the Dirk is 80CrV2. Hand carved hardwood handles with a Celtic knot and custom leather sheaths. Yes, that is the Shaw Clan tartan. Merry Christmas to me and to all of you!

Qu**ky project / Christmas presents for my dad and brother. Those are some of the best pliers I've ever used. Surprisingly useful! Just needed a way to tote them around where they will be handy and easy to keep up with. Added a little slot for an inspection light that is always useful and can be stuck on the brim of your cap. Made myself one as well but it has two slots for small pliers.
