SIGNED ✍️💥 Chris Whitten (6’3” Guard) has officially signed with the YAKS Team in Peru. Chris comes to Peru after an impressive collegiate career at Central Christian College, where he established himself as a true bucket and one of the most prolific scorers in program history. Chris finished his collegiate career as Central Christian College’s all-time leading scorer with 1,949 career points. Last season, Chris averaged 21.2 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 1.5 APG, and 1.3 SPG across 28 games. A gifted scorer and athletic guard, Chris can get a bucket at all three levels—creating his own shot off the dribble, attacking and finishing at the rim, knocking down shots from the perimeter, and consistently putting pressure on opposing defenses. His ability to create offense, combined with his playmaking and competitiveness, gives the YAKS another dangerous weapon in the backcourt. After proving himself as an elite scorer throughout his college career, we’re excited to watch Chris take that scoring ability to the professional level and begin making his name internationally.
