WIBL ADDS ESMERALDA PAL RACINES AS LEAGUE CONTENT CREATOR
As the Wichita Independent Baseball League continues to grow, so does the amount of work taking place away from the baseball field.
The WIBL is pleased to welcome Esmeralda Pal Racines as the league’s new Content Creator, helping build and organize the league’s growing media, branding and sponsor program.
Based in the Philippines, Racines brings approximately five years of experience in content creation and digital media to the WIBL.
What began only a few months ago as an effort to create an adult baseball league has quickly developed into a year-round digital platform reaching thousands of baseball fans throughout the region. With game stories, photographs, graphics, schedules, league news and sponsor content now being produced regularly, the league has reached the point where a more organized media operation is needed.
Racines will begin by helping establish a consistent WIBL branding guide, including colors, typography, photography, graphics and the overall look and voice of league content.
She will also help develop a social media content calendar and content library so upcoming stories, game coverage and sponsor promotions can be planned and tracked rather than simply created one post at a time.
Another important part of the position will involve the WIBL’s growing sponsor program. The league intends to provide sponsors with more than a traditional sign at a ballpark. WIBL content is designed to generate views, interactions and direct exposure for the businesses that support the league.
Racines will assist with sponsor branding, digital advertisements and the organization of performance information showing sponsors how their WIBL-supported content performed.
She will also become familiar with league schedules, teams, statistics and GameChanger information as she learns the clubs and players throughout the WIBL.
The transition will happen gradually as Racines develops the branding, advertising and organizational side of the league’s media operation and takes on additional responsibilities.
The WIBL may be a baseball league on the field, but its ability to tell stories, promote its players and teams, and create value for its sponsors has become an important part of what the league is building.
Welcome to the WIBL, Esmeralda!

RAWLINGS PREMIUM MAPLE GOODS — PRO INK-DOT MAPLE — $110
This is a 33-inch Rawlings Premium Maple Goods professional-grade maple bat, featuring a cupped barrel and visible Pro Ink Dot. The ink-dot process is used to evaluate the straightness of the wood grain for professional-level standards. This bat carries Rawlings' classic “The Mark of a Pro” branding and the factory code PC25413-33. At $110, this is an opportunity to swing a serious wood bat without paying typical premium-maple retail prices.
The bat appears consistent with the classic I13-style profile — a long, substantial barrel, thin handle and flared k**b designed to put more mass through the hitting zone. Rawlings continues to manufacture bats specifically identified as the I13 Profile, including a 2.56-inch barrel, .94-inch handle, flared k**b and cupped end.
33" — approximately -3 — $110.
The I13 has real Major League history. The original I13 turn was created for former Major Leaguer Mike Ivie, who played 11 MLB seasons from 1971–1983. The “I” comes from Ivie, and the I13 profile went on to become one of the enduring professional wood-bat shapes and has been used by numerous Major League hitters.
