News: Wichita Selection Latest Successful Club to Go Pro in MLIS - Major League Indoor Soccer Wichita Selection has joined MLIS for the 2022-23 season.

Sporting Wichita is excited to announce Coach Dallas Fiszel as our new Assistant Director of Coaching. As part of the next stage in the club’s development, this new Coaching (DOC) structure is effective immediately for the 2022-23 season. This stage of development brings a new organization of our DOCs, with the continued growth and success of our club, we want to ensure consistent stability in each age group on the boys and girls side, providing additional support and leadership in the growth of our coaching education and player first development strategy.
“We are excited to have Coach Dallas take on this important full time leadership role with Sporting Wichita. There are very few people in the industry who have his combination of experience and leadership ability at his age” states Qaies Al-Amood, Sporting Wichita Director of Coaching. Assistant Director Fiszel’s new role will include working with Director Al-Amood to further develop boys and girls soccer programs, interfacing with our recreational and select soccer feeder programs, and helping shape the Sporting Wichita player experience with a concentration on the u9-u12 age groups. “I am very proud to be a part of the work Sporting Wichita does to provide a player-first focus while also providing a competitive environment for growth,” says Fiszel. This announcement follows the hiring of Coach Jon Harris, who joins SW as the Futsal Academy Director, focusing on our u5-u8 player development.
Coach Fiszel, a legacy player for Sporting Wichita, started his coaching career early, while he was still in high school, and then went on to play at the Collegiate level for Allen County and Newman University. He has some impressive credentials, holding coaching licenses from Dirección Deportiva de Clubes de Futbol - Argentina 2020, Barcelona FC, as well as USYS D license and C license candidate. Having coached at all levels, most recently serving as a Head Coach for the SW UPSL semi-pro team, he also joined the Bethel College Men’s Coaching Staff this season. Coach Fiszel led his 03 and 06 boys teams to State, Regional and National Championships, successfully competing against top teams in the region and nation, as well as earning a National Fair Play award with his 03 team. He recently graduated his first team, with 13 of his 16 players signed from that team to play collegiate soccer for several successful programs.
