Look at all of these donations, friends! Thank you so much to everyone who shared and donated to the cause that is I Support the Girls. We donated these specific items to the Wichita women's overflow shelter - a facility operated by Interfaith Ministries. Total donation count: 313 bras, 1,693 tampons and 2,537 pads. This is only the beginning of serving the women in our state-wide community. Again, thank you!!

Tampax® Donates One Million Tampons to Girls and Women in Need Across the Nation in 30 Days In celebration of Menstrual Hygiene Day, Procter & Gamble’s leading feminine protection brand Tampax®, is collaborating with 20 social influencers to donate one million tampons to women’s charities across the United States over the next 30 days.

Support the Girls KC is happy to give a HUGE bag of new and gently used bras + several boxes and bags of feminine hygiene products to this wonderful nonprofit. (This is for the Lee's Summit location, and we will deliver another bag of goodies to the Independence facility.) Yesterday Support the Girls KC handed off a bag of about 60 bras and several boxes and bags of feminine hygiene products to a River of Refuge rep. We know they'll put them to good use as they continue their mission to (and women and families) by providing transitional housing for people in need. Our April campaign totals are in: We collected 292 bras and 3,157 feminine hygiene products! THANK YOU to the owners of Bambou Salon & Spa, My Bliss Nail & Spa and Time 2 Change Fitness for Women for letting us use their locations as drop-off points for Kansas City's first-ever Support the Girls campaign! 🎀 And THANK YOU to everyone who donated items! We'll begin delivering the BIG bags of items to our five KC-area shelters and and a transitional housing facility beginning next week.

What an exciting day counting and sorting everything collected for Support the Girls! This is just part of the huge haul collected at our terrific trio of drop-off spots: Bambou Salon & Spa, My Bliss Nail & Spa and Time 2 Change Fitness for Women. Each nonprofit will get a nice mix of items ... and those worthy orgs are: River of Refuge, City Union Mission, two Hope House locations and Rose Brooks Center.
