Oz Wicked Softball

The Wicked Curve. Duck soup with Coltin’s Curve buddies plus Braden, E-Dub, and T-Haskell! Both the older boys and the girls had a blast! We mixed the teams and had to go into extra innings because everyone was tied 8-8 after the 6th. After the 7th the score was 14-14.
1st inning- 1 pitch and had to get 4 outs
2nd inning- run the bases backwards 3rd, 2nd,
3rd inning- kick ball
4th inning- banana ball rules
5th inning- spin around the bat 10 times and hit
Off the tee.
6th inning- wiffle ball
Extra inning 7th- regular softball
Extra inning 8th- each team pick someone from the other team to hit and the longest ball wins

One person from each team had to wear the tutu and hat while batting and running, they were worth three runs if they scored!

These girls came to play ball this weekend! They had a rough start yesterday and lost a game they shouldn’t have on a ton of errors. They ended up in a three-way tie for first in their pool and took third based on runs allowed. That third place finish put them in the silver bracket but they came out today and competed and worked hard. They were winning the championship game until the error bug bit them the last two innings. Second place is still a better finish than they have had this year and I’m beyond proud of all of them! They are coached hard and work hard to get better each practice and game! Preparing them for the future both in softball and life; nothing is given, earn it!

Not the ending we had hoped for after starting off strong on Friday and Saturday but the girls will figure out how to pull it together on Sunday soon. 3rd place finish in battle for the bling in Pratt, KS

Offensive MVP’s this weekend- Whitney, Presley, and Austin!

Defensive MVP- Brinly, pitched lights out Friday and Saturday!

Tournament MVP’s as voted by their teammates- Hadley and Austin but Mo gets the trophy!

Other notables- Hannah with a big catch in the outfield and an awesome bunt and hit!

Ella- with a few big hits on a line to the outfield!

Peyton- huge hit Friday night that was so close to going over!

Guest player- Havana coming in clutch and putting the ball into play offensively!

Very excited to announce our roster for this year! This group of girls is extremely talented and makes us stronger in all aspects of the game; pitching, offense, and defense!

Today is the day! Hope to see a lot of girls at TRYC tonight!

We had a great turnout for our first tryout but several weren’t able to attend. Wanted to open this additional tryout to anyone who may have missed our first one. With so much talent in the area we’d hate to miss someone who would be a fit for our close knit group of girls.
