I just want to say how proud I am of the growth we’ve seen throughout the Shoot It Better program. Not just as teams, but individually with every single player. The confidence, effort, basketball IQ, toughness, and overall skill development is improving more and more every week, and it’s showing because of the consistency and work being put in.
One thing I love most is seeing the players starting to really believe in themselves and trust the process. The growth isn’t just showing up in wins or points scored — it’s showing in the little things, the fundamentals, the teamwork, the communication, and the overall feel for the game.
We still have a long way to go, but I’m excited about the direction we’re moving in and the future of this program. The foundation is being built the right way, and the progress we’ve seen already is only the beginning. I appreciate all the parents for continuing to trust the process and helping us build something special together.

🏀 Shoot It Better Basketball Academy is looking for boys & girls in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade interested in learning REAL fundamental basketball in a fun, competitive, high-energy environment.
We’re inviting new players and families to come check out a practice Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday and experience the energy, teaching, and family atmosphere for yourself.
At Shoot It Better, we focus on:

I just want to say how proud I am of these girls and all the growth they’ve shown. To win a championship in a 5th grade division with no actual 5th graders on the team says a lot about their toughness, confidence, and willingness to keep learning. The consistency in practice is really starting to show, and I appreciate all the parents for trusting me to coach the girls hard and for truly buying into the program. The Shoot It Better family is really starting to grow together as one, and it’s starting to pay off in a big way for the girls. Medals and trophies aren’t everything, but moments like this are a testament to the hard work, commitment, and growth they’ve put in. It shows the girls that staying consistent and trusting the process pays off and this is only the beginning. A lot more to come.
