Bad news the state park just called , they are closing the lake due to high water and rising more rising water from Nebraska. So we are moving the tournament to Melvern lake. West state park ramp.

ABA 66 sixth event was held on Melvern May 10th . Recent fishing reports was a tough slow bite , which was exactly what happened, post spawn fish in that funk before their early summer feed and falling water not helping matters , anglers scrambling to catch 5 and the difficulty to find quality fish lead us all scratching are heads . Max Killion hunkered down , using his strengths and boated 12.83 pounds . Darrell Brown tied up second with 11.18 pounds and JR Beehler rounded out third with 10.93 pounds
Big Bass honors went to Christopher Call with a 4.68 beaut . Tough conditions great group of anglers equals awesome times . Hope to see all of you at the next one , should be interesting.

Division 66 held the forth event of the season at Eldorado reservoir on April 26th.
Thinking this event would be a Midwest shoot out with weights in the high teens , Eldorado kick out two bags over 20 pounds.
Showing bigs swim here . Jack Donner battle 17 hammers and landed a mixed bag of small jaws and heads that top the scales at 20.82 pounds. JR Beehler also with a mixed bag captured 20.42 pounds and Larry Gawith rounded out the top three with 18.63 pounds JR Beehler took big bass honors with a 6.46 brute. Our next event is May 10th at Melvern ,I do apologize for scheduling on Mother's Day, a rookie mistake .

Our third stop this was held at beautiful Milford reservoir , Mother Nature came to play in this event with windy conditions and threats of rain . Jesse Cornell using his knowledge and the conditions captured a beautiful 17.58 pound bag of bronze backs and staved off Drew Blackwoods bag of 15.96 pounds. Milford wasn't done . Showing what swims in this lake Lane Pietro a future money taker / heartbreaker caught a huge Smallmouth on our scales that weighed 6.99 . He scared the state record . It was a awesome event our next derby is April 26th back at Eldorado and promise to be a shoot out . Hope to see ya there .

Results from El Dorado

Max Killion, in Thunder Dome style bested a very strong field with 17.32 pounds on a very breezy season opener on Eldorado lake .
Gale Brown stayed steady and focused and landed 2nd with 16.73 . Darrell brown held down 3rd 15.66 pounds .
BigBass was captured by Jack Donner at 4.93 pounds . Great guys great fun see you at our next even April 12th
