Took a lot more time to appreciate the time afield this season. More focused on the hunt and being present than trying to get the perfect angle for a hero shot. Less focused on trying to market what we offer. We had our most consistent season yet, even though we faced some of the most challenging weather systems. Here are a few photos from this past season. Thank you to all who joined us. We can't wait for the next season to return. As always, we will never promise birds, only that you won't find too many willing to put forth the effort and miles it demands to be successful. That level of commitment is what we sell, and we have a damn good product.

Barrels got hot this weekend... The guys even managed a banded lesser all the way from Coral Harbor, Canada. 1896 miles!!! Always glad to have the guys from Alma Auto and www.russellimports.com in the blind. It was a hell of a weekend.

Man, what a difference a single day can make...from zero to hero!
We spent the whole weekend volunteering to benefit the ladies and our chapter.... We did our best to put together a great first hunt...sadly our best came up short... wild birds did wild bird things and our gameplan came unraveled. We were fortunate to experience the finer aspects of waterfowling: blind snacks, dog love, laughs, stories, sunrises, and indigestion from the Chilli the night before. To say the least it was the most enjoyable sh*tty hunt we have ever experienced. We do our best to minimize those sh*tty hunts, but when our number is called... we could not have asked for a better group of people to experience it with. Thank you ladies, looking forward to our next adventure.

Good to be back...

Had the opportunity to set out on a fun hunt with . It's wasn't quite a barn burner, but it's tough to complain when you are killing greenies in the mid 70's...

Setting up a ground blind for the wife's first solo deer hunt and could not help but check a few ponds... those north winds have been fruitful. We will see you in a few weeks!

You see that? That is the sun beginning to set on the off season. It's coming fast and you can believe we are ready for all of our guest to make their way to town.
