If evil is willing to become ruthless, goodness cannot afford to become weak.
Being a good man does not mean being incapable of force. It means having enough strength to protect what matters without becoming consumed by hatred, ego, or cruelty. Power without character is dangerous, but character without courage can leave you unable to stand when it matters.
The goal is not to become violent for the sake of violence. It is to become disciplined enough that fear does not control you, capable enough that you can protect others, and grounded enough that your strength remains under your command.
Because the world does not become better when good people become helpless. It becomes better when strong people choose what their strength is for.
