Made a last minute trip with Captain Bret and his band of Desperados trying for a buzzer be**er fluke to end the 2021 season. Neither the weather or the fluke cooperated, but that didn’t stop us from having an awesome time. I think Brett looks better as a redhead than I do. Brett was high hook of the day with 4 seabass.

Fished a small tourny on Saturday. We took a ride 32miles from Cape May. Lines in at 630, Scully had the first K by 640. Boated over 25k’s lost count, kept our limit, I was cutting one when picture was taken. Didn’t win anything. Just a had a great day with great people, nothing else matters

Probably my last fluke trip of 2021 and it ended with a bang! Murph with a 10.00lb beauty. Biggest on my boat, but not Murph’s biggest. Happy to be able to put him on the Meat!

Mahi have been elusive on the inshore grounds of NJ in 2021. We shoved off and found a small pile of them, kept 8 left released just as many. Perfect day with Mike and his daughter Finished it off with some slap yo mamma seasoning on avocado ceasar tacos 🌮

Been a while since last. 2021 has been kickin my ass but some of my customers are crushing it! Here’s Tim with his fish of a lifetime 10+ in Southern Jersey waters, what makes it even better is Tim was able to share this moment with his Dad, who got Tim hooked on fishing 50 years ago! Can’t leave out Craig who’s been slaying fluke all summer while I’ve been either stuck at work or the dock due to weather!!!

Had plans for surf n turf with fresh venison backstrap courtesy of @richharron and seabass from the other day but get a phone call from Fishin Gn buddy who says hey I got some BLuefin Tuna and NJ sword fish from out overnighter yesterday. You adapt and overcome. Seabass will have to wait!

Ended the 2020 NJ Summer Flounder season with a season best buzzer be**er at 7lb 1 oz and a 5lb 3oz

The many faces of At age 18months When the dr told me, she was sick and “by the looks of her, it could be liver functions” my whole world stopped, I remembered the 2nd half of the conversation being, blah blah blah celiac disease, but that’s an adult onset disease. Allyson was a runt, her growth chart leveled off, she had no ass and he belly was distended. After blood test and a biopsy, we were relieved, perplexed and guilt ridden. That all thou my baby girls liver was 100% healthy, we met some wonderful people at CHOP GI dept, that weren’t so fortunate. The diagnosis was “avoid eating wheat, barely and rye” and Allyson should have a wonderful productive life. Dr said there may be some developmental delays, speech, comprehension and maybe even height. There is not a day that goes by that I’m not eternally grateful. Well proud to say she’s a multi-sport freshman in high school enrolled in honor classes and taking French, which in turn I’ll have to learn French so when she gets flip, I’ll know what she’s saying!

Got a few today upto 5+lbs. 7 out of possible 9. Missed our fair share

Got 9 tog yesterday after opting out of running offshore for seabass. Pan fried tog with scallops, gluten free pasta, white clam sauce and garlic bread. It was as good as it looks! @ Wildwood, New Jersey

Finally was able to get away from the dock on Friday. Fishing wasn’t as good as planned, always the case, stayed later than expected, always the case, got 18 seabass and a dozen porgy. Got back in the dark, had work Saturday until dark, cleaned fish today in a Nor’easter. Dedicated! Oil and “clam”, many of good men have died in the pursuit of both! @ Wildwood, New Jersey
