Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you our October Zoom-Athlete of the Month, KELLY GIOVANDO! 🌟
If you know Kelly, you love her! She comes in with a bright and happy attitude every day, she is so consistent with her fitness and it definitely shows, and she’s just an overall fantastic person!

What are your hobbies?
My hobbies consist of entertaining my children and watching them play sports. 👩👦👦⚽️🏀 It’s an exciting life I lead!
What’s a fun fact about you?
I used to be a tumble bee in gymnastics and still love bragging about it. 🤸🏼♂️🐝
What do you do for a living?
I work from home part-time at a financial planning firm in the investor relations area. 💵
How long have you been a member of CFWW?
I’ve been at CFWW for 18 months!👏🏼 Kinda still feel like I’m new still🤪
What’s your favorite cheat meal?
Copious amounts of El Maguey chips and dip 🌮 or an entire Papa John’s pizza. 🍕It’s a toss up.
What would be your perfect WOD?
It would involve rowing 🚣🏼♀️, handstand of some sort, and maybe a little toes to rings 🤸🏼♀️
Why did you join CFWW?
My neighbor, Emily, invited me to watch a Crossfit Games night and I was hooked. 🙌🏼
What would you tell someone looking to join?
It will be the most challenging and empowering part of your day and will ultimately change your life. 💪🏼Also, it is so much fun!! 😄 Especially when coach Morgan is in charge of the music 🎶💃🏼

September’s Zoom-In Athlete of the Month is… MATT SCHERRER!
If you’ve known Matt since he’s been at CFWW, you know what he has had to go through and the challenges he has had to face the last couple years; however, HE’S BACK, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him back in classes, gracing us with his presence, and crushing his workouts!

I have traveled all over the US playing the top golf courses and have made it to Scotland to play St. Andrew’s. 🗺️ ⛳️

Why did you join CFWW?
To build a healthier and better life, both physically and mentally. I had previously done GoldsFit at Golds Gym before they closed, and several folks I had worked out with joined CFWW. 🫂🧠💪🏼
What would you tell someone looking to join?
I was scared at first, too. I thought I had no business joining CrossFit in my 40’s. It has been one of the best decisions of my life. 💙

Meet our owners, Coach Ava and Coach Mike! They met in a CrossFit gym back in 2012, and decided to open their own in December of 2014…they’re coming up on celebrating 9 years of bringing a fitness community to the city of Wildwood!
They are both in the gym almost every day, doing whatever they can to continuously move the needle in providing an unparalleled fitness experience for their members! They both share a passion to help others tap into their potential and transform people into the best versions of themselves!
They started out in a 1600 square-foot facility with 4 squat racks, 4 rowers, and 4 boxes. They now provide over 12,000sqft in a world class facility with climate controlled conditions, organized and tidy equipment, kids room, break room, open gym hours, open 7 days a week, and so much more!
