The 2026 Playoff MVP is Stew Caladie of Snack Shack!

It takes a special performance at the plate to take Playoff MVP honors without seeing the mound, and that’s exactly what Stew had during the 2026 postseason. In the first of what was Snack Shack’s two closely contested playoff games, Stew hit two 6th inning HR, the second of which was a walk off, to bring his team back from a 9-5 deficit in extra innings. In the second game, which was Game 3 of the Championship series, Stew went 3-for-5 and drove in 6 runs. The rest of the Snack Shack lineup combined drove in 4. Altogether, Stew slashed .500 for the playoffs, hitting 4 HR while driving in a league best 21 runs.

He beat out Brett Caladie, Steve Dotzel, and Brandon Wozniak for the award.

Tomorrow's announcement is our final award -- Sportsman of the Year.

The 2026 MVP is Brett Caladie of Snack Shack!

Brett Caladie may be a Big League Wiffler now, but he hasn’t forgotten his roots. In 2026 he put up a staggering .638 batting average alongside a .696 OBP and a staggering 81 RBI. These numbers in and of themselves are MVP worthy, but Caladie took it one step further; he broke the single season home run record, a record that stood for an entire decade, smashing 27 cut/scuffed/sandpapered Wiffle Balls out of Diamond City Park. On the pitching end, Brett also had a successful season, posting a 4.48 ERA and 45 strikeouts. It takes a lot to stand out, especially on an already dominant team, and yet Brett does.

He beat out Steve Dotzel and Joey Dougher for the award.

Tomorrow's announcement will be Playoff MVP.

The 2026 Silver Slugger goes to Brett Caladie of Snack Shack!

In what is becoming an annual tradition, Brett wins the award given to the league’s best hitter. This is his 5th Silver Slugger trophy over the past 6 seasons. 2026 was arguably Brett’s best year at the plate, most notably his 27 HR broke the BWBL record for HR in a season (24) that has stood since 2016. In addition, Brett drove in 81 runs, a career high, and the second most ever recorded in a season in league history. Beyond the power numbers, he also batted .638 with a .696 OBP both of which were the second-best marks posted during the 2026 season.

The 2026 Cy Young goes to Steve Dotzel of Snack Shack!

Make no mistake: hitting is getting better in the BWBL, which makes Dotzel’s 2026 season on the mound that much more impressive. Undefeated in the regular season, posting a 2.83 ERA in 30 innings pitched, 49 Ks, while walking only nine(!) batters all season. Dotzel continues to find ways of frustrating elite batters with good speed, great movement, and A1 placement.

He beat out Joey Dougher and Fran George for the award.

Tomorrow's announcement will be Silver Slugger.
