Loose horse ran to my barn. 2010 mare. Has splints/bell boots on. Pm for information
Can I just say that GLEF has been fabulous with all the improvements and keeping the rings moving along so our clients can enjoy the lake. More importantly the GLEF management should lead the way on Covid practices. I think I feel more safe at the horse than anywhere else! Constant temperature checks at the gate, staff continually monitoring all people making sure they are wearing masks and gloves. You can find gloves and masks at every ingate. Water bottles in iced coolers plus nice people driving around offering water around the show. A huge thank you to the management for making such a tough time with Covid and the heat a comfortable and very enjoyable experience. Looking forward to the next several weeks!
If anyone is in need of a beautiful place to stay during the show season and the rest of the year, I have just the spot. For sale; 6056 Holt Rd, Williamsburg. Please send me a message if interested. 3 BDR 2 Bathrooms and on the Resort property.
We have a home in Williamsburg for weekly rentals (or longer), about 2 miles from the show. Where can I go to post the rental information?

I know it is early to think about next years festival, but here is a very nice Spider Lake home that is available. Really good lake views, newer furnishings, lots of room. Close to the show.
Went to the festival july 21st with my niece and bought a beautiful sweater from a vendor and it still hasn't arrived!! Unfortunately I lost the contract information and the receipt to get ahold of them. I remember exactly where she was at, if you are walking into the vendor's from the quest walk way she was the last one on the left. I do believe she is from South Carolina. If someone could help me that would be amazing!!!!
any folks interested in my place? I am 5 minutes from the grounds!! https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/356773321894874/
Get out of Michigan
Hi everyone, me and my niece are coming up this weekend 20-22nd for the festival and I cant seem to find information on stuff to do other then the competition's on Sunday. Also I'm not sure how the competition works on Sunday. I need someone to explain this to me layman's term please.
Horse watch is a thief. Genuinely did not know he was an employee, I mistook him for a groom. He can be heard yelling at all hours of the night and can be seen stealing hay and tack and playing in the shed at the back gate rather than tending to the horses. Not impressed. One would think such a prestigious festival would hire better help. I’ve come to expect more from a Morrisey management show, this is nothing like their show in Wellington Florida.

Today is a big day around Traverse City because it is the 50th anniversary of Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore! One of the park's most visited spots is the massive dunes that overlook the lake. No wonder it is one of our exhibitors' favorite spots to visit while in town! ☀️ Have you been to Sleeping Bear? We want to see photos of your favorite memories from there in the comments!

Happy Indigenous Peoples' Day! Today celebrates and honors Native Americans and commemorates their histories and cultures, and we are so honored to have such a thriving relationship with the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. Traverse City Horse Shows has been embraced by the community, and we are so thankful for their support!

We spy some familiar faces! It is so fun seeing our exhibitors and sponsors doing well in the show ring all around the country. Congratulations to Kendall Meijer of Copper Fox LLC, a longtime supporter of Traverse City Horse Shows, on her win aboard Elliot in the North American League (NAL) Adult Hunter Final at The Capital Challenge Horse Show this week!

[09/24/20]   The $30,000 CaptiveOne Advisors Open Jumper Rider Bonus brought a lot of excitement to Flintfields Horse Park this season, but in the end, it was Ireland’s Shane Sweetnam who walked away victorious!

Traverse City Horse Shows would like to recognize and thank CaptiveOne Advisors, LLC, our Presenting Sponsor of the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival and the American Gold Cup for their partnership and support.

CaptiveOne, a national leader of captive insurance services, specializes in building custom captive insurance programs for its clients. With offices based in the horse capital of the nation, Wellington, FL, CaptiveOne quickly recognized the importance of the horse industry in bringing tourists and new business owners alike to their hometown, making their emergence into the equestrian ring an obvious and welcomed endeavor. Owner, and avid horse enthusiast, Wayne Jenkins, had this to say about CaptiveOne’s continued partnership with Traverse City Horse Shows:

“It was a no-brainer for CaptiveOne to return to Traverse City after a wonderful start to our partnership with the Traverse City Horse Shows team in 2019. This horse show is one of the most well-liked in the country, both for the level of the sport and as a destination horse show, and we are happy to be part of it.”

As the sponsor of our two biggest Grand Prix and a $30,000 Open Jumper Rider Bonus, CaptiveOne has helped us raise the level of sport and offer a better experience for all of our participants. They also very generously supported the “Clear for the Cause” campaign which raised $24,900 for JustWorld International.

On behalf of our TCHS team, thank you for sharing our vision of producing a world class show jumping event and for your leadership and commitment to our sport. We are proud to be your partner and look forward building on our success in 2021!
