FUN DIVE?!?! Huh... what?!?!:
:
:
Who’s ever heard of such a thing?! How many of you practice freediving for FUN and the simple joy of just being underwater, tuning the above water world out? Even better, how many of you do it WITHOUT a dive watch?!?! :
:
In a world filled with ego influenced Freedivers, it blows my mind how many Freedivers out there base their ENTIRE dive sessions success on NUMBERS. Or rather, allow a ridiculous DIVE watch to dictate the success and enjoyment of a dive! WTF people?! 🤣:
:
I see it every time I dive with people, experienced divers/ even instructors, constantly looking at their dive watch post dive for some twisted reassurance or validation that the dive was “good”.... “what was the depth ?!” “How Long was the dive?!” They claim “just wanting to know” , or that it’s just habit.... but take the watch off and you’ll see how truly important the “numbers” have become in your own diving enjoyment.:
:
:
Even crazier.... take the watch off for several sessions wether diving on a line or diving the reef and you will SOON discover that your enjoyment level increases resulting in MUCH more BETTER DIVES... BETTER MINDSET.... and you will be opening up the doors to continued progression! :

Featured in this photo by .dahlgren is Freediver , a guru of diving for fun.... which by no coincidence... makes her one of the best ALL around freedivers we’ve ever met! I guess her pops isn’t so bad either 😜. Moral of the story, THEY DIVE BECAUSE THEY LOVE IT and their goals are to have FUN! Make that your goal and the rest will fall into place!!! :
