🎓 Congratulations to the 2026 Philadelphia GAA Student Scholarship Recipients 🎓

Philadelphia GAA is proud to recognize Jocelyn Gilette and Gavin O’Neill as the recipients of the 2026 Philadelphia GAA Student Scholarships, awarded in memory of Liam Hegarty.

These scholarships celebrate the dedication, commitment, and achievements of young members of our GAA community, both on and off the field.

We wish Jocelyn and Gavin every success as they continue their educational journeys and look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the years ahead.

👉 It's crunch time! The largest global tournament of youth Gaelic games outside Ireland C*C - Continental Youth Championships - is here in and it starts on Thursday! Tomorrow (Wednesday the 29th of July) is the most important set up day yet. ALL HANDS ON DECK will make this tournament a massive success.

🕘 Volunteers will be on site at Line Road starting at 9 am until dark. If you can spare an hour or 2, please stop by. You can be part of the team behind the tournament ☘

As you start getting planning for C*C Philadelphia here are a few important reminders:

✅ Make sure your player has everything listed in this post.
✅ Download the TeamSnap Tournaments app now! The C*C page is temporarily offline while the tournament schedule is being built, but it will be back up soon. We’ll let everyone know as soon as the tentative schedule is available.
✅ All Glenside teams should expect to play on all four days of the tournament, so plan accordingly.
✅ Registration information is coming soon! Every player must check in and receive a tournament wristband before they are eligible to compete. We’ll share all the details as soon as they’re available.

We can’t wait to see over 130 Glenside Gaelic Club players representing our club at the largest youth Gaelic games tournament outside of Ireland. It’s going to be an unforgettable 4 days!

The Continental Youth Championships are almost here, and we need our Glenside family to step up one more time.

This isn’t just the biggest tournament of our season—it’s the largest C*C in history, with hundreds of teams and thousands of players, coaches, and families coming to Philadelphia.

But we can’t do it without you.

Whether you can give 2 hours or an entire day, every volunteer makes a difference. We need help with admissions, parking, hospitality, field marshals, medical, umpire/lines, and more.

If you’ve ever enjoyed watching your child play, appreciated the volunteers who make our events run smoothly, or simply want to support our club, this is the time.

C*C Philadelphia is just TWO WEEKS away!

The countdown is officially on, and we’re incredibly proud to be sending our biggest Glenside Gaelic Club representation to a Continental Youth Championship yet! 💚

With 132 players, 20 stand-alone Glenside teams, and our U14, U16, and U18 girls joining forces with Delco Gaels, we’re ready to represent our club and community with pride.
