programs that may have been running in your mind since childhood. These programs form our attitudes, beliefs, and outlooks on life, and shape the way we see and feel about ourselves. Many of these programs may not be true of us at all, only further creating self-limiting beliefs that may keep us from being happy or reaching our full potential. The programing happens when we accept the labels and beliefs given to us by others. Society, family, friends, teachers, coaches, and partners all contribute to how we form our perceptions. A change in perspective can make big changes to your life! The subconscious mind is the automatic part of our brain that takes what we learn and allows it to become automated. This is great for being able to do activities without much thought or effort. We no longer need to focus on how to walk or ride a bike once we learn how. Unfortunately, it also forms the habits we do not desire to hold on to. We are often completely unaware of what this programming is. If left unchecked, we can find ourselves running completely on automatic mode, leaving us feeling lost and unsure how to make real changes. It can cause rumination and unhealthy feedback loops of negative thoughts. This eventually leads to anxiety and stress. Once we become aware of the programs that are running our life, we can transform self-limiting beliefs. By getting to the core of the issue, we can have amazing success in forming new attitudes, habits, and outlooks on life!
