We had our first tournament this month, nearly 40 players showed up with a great mix people playing in their first over-the-board tournament and plenty of very strong local players.

Exactly the kind of community we’re wanting to build up here in Wilmington.

Wilmington, NC Chess Tournament this week!

Join us for a 4-round Swiss, unrated tournament — open to experienced chess players and anyone looking to play over-the-board locally.

Perfect starting place if you've mostly played online, but are now wanting to play in-person with other chess players.

This is our first event, looking to build up the community starting on April 16th!
