🥎 **WE’RE ADDING TO OUR CIRCLE!** 🥎

Due to an upcoming out-of-state relocation, Florida Impact 10U Mason/Hicks is looking for a strong pitcher/utility player to complement our established pitching rotation and competitive roster.

We are looking for a player who can contribute in the circle, help us defensively at another position, and be a great teammate. The right fit will be coachable, competitive, hardworking, and ready to continue developing both her mechanics and mindset.

We understand that most players are settling into their teams right now. If your current situation is not the right fit, or you are still looking for the right opportunity, we would love to hear from you.

Weekend Recap ❤️🖤

8 teams. 4 advanced. We were one of them.

Our weekend ended a little earlier than we wanted when lightning canceled bracket play, but these girls earned their spot among the final four.

Saturday challenged us.

We faced some really good competition. We got punched. We made mistakes. We had moments where things got away from us.

Saturday showed us how far we still have to go.

Sunday came. These girls responded.

They came back with a 9-4 win. Followed it with a 10-0 win. Then went toe-to-toe with a very good Batbusters team, building a 7-3 lead before eventually falling 8-7.

Sunday showed us how quickly we can grow, and that's what we're most proud of.

We talk a lot about RESPONSE, and very proud of our girls for not letting Saturday become Sunday.

They responded. They competed. They trusted each other. They trusted themselves. They earned their way into bracket play as one of four teams remaining from a field of eight.

We leave this weekend knowing there is plenty of work ahead of us, but also knowing a little more about what this group is capable of.

Saturday showed us the work. Sunday showed us the possibilities.

Proud of these girls. Back to work. ❤️🖤

Mother Nature had the final say, but this weekend gave us plenty to be proud of.

We earned our spot in the Gold bracket and found ourselves in a tough battle against Unity Brock/Cornelius when the weather decided the day was over. That's part of this game. You don't always control how the moment ends.

What matters is what we saw happening before it did: a group of young athletes beginning to believe more in themselves. The game will keep teaching them. The reps will keep adding up. These relationships will keep getting stronger.

One tournament down. Plenty of growth still in front of us.

First tournament. First real lessons.

The scoreboard gave us 5-1 and 5-5 today. The game gave us opportunities to learn, adjust, compete, and grow together.

That’s what this weekend is about.

Tomorrow, we get another opportunity to compete.

For weeks, these girls have been working, learning each other, competing, and getting uncomfortable.

Now it’s time to put that work on display when the scoreboard is on and the moments are real.
