Come join our group of talented, dedicated and passionate girls! Due to unfortunate injuries we are needing to fill a few spots. My husband, Adam Brandenburg and I will be the coaches of this group. We are committed to helping all of our girls play at the next level. My husband played professionally and I played at the collegiate level. We have a strong fall planned consisting of showcases and private organizational clinics for maximum exposure. Call Adam to set up a time for personal tryout! We are looking specifically for a pitcher, MIF and OF. Our team is mostly 2025s and 2026s.

Thomas' Defensive Dominance Earns Her First SUNC Award of 2024 - Webber International University Athletics Lakeland, FL – Taylor Thomas was named Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week after an incredible weekend of nonconference play, conference officials announced on Monday afternoon. Thomas notched two wins to grab her first weekly award of the year and the second one of her career.

Alright, another brag post. This time I’m bragging on 📣 14yo Madison Brown 📣

She plays school ball at West Laurens Middle and she plays travel for Texas Glory. This time last year she was throwing consistently low 40s and she just hit a new max velo of 5️⃣5️⃣❗️

I asked her a few questions the other night to help shed light on how she grew so much over this past year:
I asked how often she practiced outside of her lessons and practice? She said at least 2x per week.
I asked what was one of her favorite drills she added into her routine that helped build speed? She said the Superman drill followed by holding a tight/pinched finish. [I’ll add a video later.]
I asked was there anything else she felt contributed to building speed? She said lifting at school and strength building really helped!

So proud of you, Madison! I can’t wait to see what this year brings!

This week’s Newberry College Players of the Week are sophomore pitcher Lindsay Foster (Griffin, Ga.) and junior attacker James Osorio (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.).

Foster posted a 3-0 mark on the mound last week earning wins over UNC Pembroke, Fairmont State and Lees-McRae. She allowed just two earned runs over 16 1/3 innings for a 0.85 earned run average while allowing just 11 hits and striking out 18 batters.

Osorio scored four goals and dished out two assists in the Wolves 15-13 victory over Lynn (Fla.) in Jacksonville. He registered 10 shots, eight of them on goal and snared three ground balls. A transfer from Monmouth, Osorio scored two goals in the first and third periods.
